Today I bring you some more rare manga. The "scary book" series by the master of horror Kazuo Umezu.
the are 3 volumes in total and each of them worth hundreds of dollars on ebay/amazon awhile ago. The prices dropped down recently but still a bit hard to get.
Volume 1 and 2 were scanned by somebody a few years ago. I m doing volume 3 to wrap this one up
There are 2 stories in this last volume "Fear" and "the coincident letter". I am scanning them quick in black and white mode . Quality is questionable.
[Nadesico] from the MangaFox Forum did the first 3 chapters of the volume, I finish it up.
I was scanning them in black and white mode so it's not the best version out there but for fans who couldn't wait to read. Chapter 135 [Nadesico] Chapter 136 [Nadesico] Chapter 137 [Nadesico] Chapter 138-143 [deux83]
chapter 143 marks the end of volume 16 in the Kodansha book, also the end of volume 8 TokyoPop.
I won't be scanning any more chapters since I'm packing them up to sell on ebay/amazon. (volume 1-10 pack). check out my store If you're interested
good luck guys~
I remember 10 years ago walking into a local manga store. One of the
fellas who work there said: "Hey Onizuka fan. Why don't you check out
the new GTO book that came out yesterday?"
So I grabbed volume one of shounan junai Gumi and read it in Metro on my way home.
It's the first time I ever own a manga that thick and it's a GTO manga. Wow. Better yet, this time around it's in the style of "Kunio kun" . I've always wanted to read something highschool deliquent and stuff back in the day. So it's like triple combo. Way to awesome.
I started reading GTO back in 1999 when the first scan floating on the internet. it's been a long , memorable and joyful ride. But I'm cleaning my storage and gonna have to let them go.
Selling all other mangas as well.
The continuation of Deimos no Hanayome (which was unfinished) but with new character designs and updated artwork.
Bride of Deimos revolves around high school girl Minako Ifu, who has
become the focus of the attentions of the demon Deimos. Deimos was once a
handsome god. He loved a beautiful goddess who returns his sentiments.
The problem, well, she is his sister. For their crime against nature
they were struck down out of Olympus. The brother is now a demon and the
sister a rotting corpse at the bottom of the ocean.
Minako appears to be physical reincarnation of Deimos' lover and younger
twin sister, Venus; the former goddess of love. In order to rescue
Venus from the fatal punishment she received as a result of their
relationship, he has to bring Minako to the underworld so Venus can
possess her body. His sister is jealous. Minako is horrified and unsure
of just what to make of her situation.
Over the course of the manga, the reader sees the various ways that
Deimos attempts to accomplish this, interspersed with random chapters of
Deimos involved in bringing suffering and death to whichever humans he
happens to encounter.
Description (Found online) Reiko the Zombie Shop (Japanese: ゾンビ屋 れい子 Hepburn: Zombie-ya Reiko?)
is a Japanese manga series by Rei Mikamoto, chronicling the exploits of
Reiko Himezono, a teenage "zombie shop", or a "...necromancer-for-hire
employed by bereaved families to resurrect departed loved ones for a
short time so that the dead may impart their final truths to the
living." Eleven tankoubon have been released by Bunkasha Comics. Six
volumes have been released in English by Dark Horse Comics, translated
by Michael Gombos. However, according to Dark Horse, the series' English
publication has been discontinued.
There are 11 volumes in total, Dark Horse released it up to the 6th volume (I have them all with me here). While waiting in hope for some scanlation group to pick up the series from here, I am slowly scanning all 6 volumes
Actually volume 1 has been scanned by [Ritsuzen Manga] years ago so let's start from 2
while volume 2 and 14 have been scanned by someone (will upload upon request)
this time around
I won't even wanna press them down hard like I did to the other books. Best you can get is THIS
or maybe I won't scan them at all. I don't even wanna touch them.
because...
I just found out 5 minutes ago that they now worth hundreds of dollars on ebay. There's this one I have fetch up to $700. Holy shiet.
I also have some rare Junji Ito, Kazuo Umezu books that are very expensive right now.
These guys in The mangaFox Forum started filling the gap of missing chapters (with direct scans from the books) for a few years now. Just go there, hang out and show some support if you're a fan.And grab some volumes of course :)
In the meantime I am slowly re-scanning the low quality early chapters
Today you have chapter 38 & 39 of volume 5. With this now the whole volume is good (the rest of the chapters are done by MangaProject & Illuminati-Manga)
so I managed to scan the last 3 chapters and cropped them in less than an hour. Say, I am a guy who prefer quantity over quality. Lol. Nah, I just work fast.
I keep my books so unbiding or cutting them up is not an option but I pressed hard enough while scanning so it shouldn't be that bad.
Besides, I don't bother to go thru all the cleaning and stuff, not being lazy but I prefer the yellowish photos which give me a nostalgia feel when I look at them. If you wanna re-edit just give me a quick notice by dropping me a message or comment below
There you have it, Volume 2 of School Zone by INUKI Kanako, the queen of Japanese horror. Only 2 of her works were brought to North American readers ("Presents" and "School Zone")
They're both short series with 3 volumes each (title). I will be scanning them all. Stay tuned.
Presents
volume 1 (chapter 1a-b) Uploading
I made a mistake in the previous post. it should be chapter 1a and 1b, not chapter 1 & 2. There are 4 chapters in volume 1. Hopefully I can get it done this weekends
if you're interested in this mangaka and would love to read more. The [Slugchicks] are working on some other titles
Viz divided it into "parts" and each part have 5 to 7 30ish paged issues. I don't keep track of when a part starts or ends. All parts are marked by numbers, no name.
I don't know how may parts are there but I own up to part 5 also I don't think North American readers get to see it to the end.
it's in the size of a magazine (you can compared with the book I put in there).
I got them on eBay for $25 (+40 issues). Sweet deal .
Edited: and oh I got some Golgo 13 issues in there too, but that's already been scanned by someone else.
FotNS doesn't need an introduction so let's get down to business
I just scan whatever I feel like for now but I'll fill in the gap in time. I'll put them in order don't worry.
Young
Kurumi has never received presents on her birthday. Over the years, she
has also never aged and credits her longevity to the fact that she has
never opened a present. Now it is her role to travel the world,
bestowing gifts on others. But these presents never turn out to be what
the recipients desired; there's always a dark side and a high price to
pay. Author Inuki is known as "The Queen of Horror" in Japan.
There are 3 books in total and I'll be scanning them all
Description (I stole it from Manga-Updates which in turn stole from Dark Horse):
"The
Queen of Horror Manga, Kanako Inuki, brings you School Zone, a series
about ordinary children who encounter the strange and terrifying at
their very own school, and discover that many ghost stories, urban
legends, and superstitions are truly and horribly real."
I Eat Manga did 4 chapters (out of 5) of the first volume I think.
Here I am today rescanning the whole series (3 books) only that...
I don't know where Volume 1 and 3 went. They just disappear on me Lol
so let's try to work on whatever comes in handy right now. We'll get there eventually . Don't worry.
School Zone Volume 1 [scanned by I Eat Manga] side note: I used to download the original files which have decent quality. Wish I still have it.

volume 1 chapter 1 "Operation Big Safe"
The first few pages of Offtopia's releases are in colour but low quality. My version is black and white but with higher resolution (btw, I use their translation)
Oneshots: Jolyne, Fly High with GUCCI in MORIOH
Jolyne, Fly High with GUCCI (徐倫、GUCCIで飛ぶ Jorīn, Gutchi de tobu?) is a full-color one-shot manga featured in the February 2013 issue of Shueisha's women's fashion magazine, Spur.
Gucci translated and released it on their official Facebook page. Texts are small and pics are blurry so I decided to do a remake
==HANMA BAKI Son of Ogre== remake in better quality
